Some List of Bar/Pubs in Mumbai

Mumbai is a city that never sleeps. No matter what time of night you venture out you will find substantial number of people on streets and roads. The city is famous for its vibrant night life. There are plenty of bars and clubs to suit every taste

Bars/ Pubs: Mumbai has an easy-going attitude towards alcohol. Going into a bar/pub and having a drink is socially acceptable. Some of the famous bars/pubs of Bombay are:

1. Cafe Mondegar, Colaba CausewaySpecialty: Draught beer by the glass or Pitcher, Imported Beer and delicious fruit cocktails. The atmosphere is very relaxed, the music tends towards Rock Classics and the clientele is a mix of Westerners and students.

2. The Ghetto, 30 Bhulabhai Desai Road, near Breach Candy, MahalakshmiSpecialty: Beer is served by pitcher accompanied with all time hits of Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame. This joint also has some pool tables where one can catch up with some old friends. The graffiti on the wall will surely provide one with some amusing moments.

3. The Inside Story, Cafe Mondegar, Colaba CausewaySpecialty: The Mondegar's exclusive inner sanctum is an English pub with a dark atmosphere and a mostly male clientele plus bouncers.

4. Jazz By The Bay, Next to the Pizzeria, 143 Marine Drive Specialty: The Official Channel V pad is a convenient place to crawl to after treating oneself with Pizza. There are often Jazz festivals with bond Indian and foreign artists performing, as well as DJ spinning the latest chart hits at weekends.

5. Leopold Pub, Colaba CausewaySpecialty: Swanky, Western-style Bar & Nightclub with bouncers. Beer is also served.

6. London Pub, 39 D Chowpatty SeafaceSpecialty: Designer frosted glass bar with quality sound system and comfortable bar stools.

7. The Tavern, Fariyas Hotel, ColabaSpecialty: "English-style" pub, complete with wooden beams, and loud music.

8. J49, Juhu Residency HotelSpecialty: With a packed up Discotheque, J49 is one place in Mumbai, worth checking out if one is a party regular. Whether one prefers a tall, cool drink or a dynamic cocktail or simply shooters to drain down the system, the alcohol is innovative and affordable.
